M/V Nearly Perfect: June 3-6, 2015

Day 1. Another cold, windy, and rainy day. We just hung around the boat and did laundry. Jack and Jane (Spirit) came over for happy hour and then walked to dinner at Harbor House. Day 2. Still cold, windy, and rainy. We went to breakfast, then walked around the town a little and hung around boat the rest of the day. We went to dinner at Lucky Bones with Jack and Jane. Day 3. The weather was a little better today. We rented a car and drove to the downtown area and walked around. By this point, the weather was not good for traveling and many Loopers were waiting for the weather to break. Martha (Field Trip) organized a gathering which was the first Looper gathering we had attended and where we met a lot of the people we would meet and travel with along the way - Always Home, Tumbleweeds, Field Trip, Spirit, Renegade. We then walked to a pizza place with Jane, Jack, Bill and Donna (Renegade). Day 4. We finally woke up to a little sunshine today (although a storm blew in later in the morning). We spent the afternoon at Cape May Winery for some wine tasting and then drinking a bottle of port with cheese and crackers on the outdoor patio of the winery (what else is there to do on a rainy day!). We went back to Harbor House for dinner and then back to boat.
