We couldn't get the part installed, so we left Half Moon Bay at 9:30 and headed to Kingston. It was a beautiful run past CIA, West Point, the Roosevelt Mansion (although you couldn't see it from the water), and Vanderbilt Mansion. We docked at Roundout Marina in Kingston at 4:45 and had dinner aboard Spirit. We left Roundout Marina around 8:00 for a quick run up to Shady
Harbor Marina in New Baltimore. Another
beautiful day with beautiful scenery.
We docked at Shady Harbor around 12:45 and the repairman was there to fix
the generator. After a quick trip for a
part, he had the generator running! We had
docktails and dinner at the marina restaurant with Martha and Bob (Field Trip), Kurt and Sue (Irish Lady Too), Gerry and Judie (R Island), and
Jack and Jane (Spirit). It was a great evening. The owner of the marina (Brian) offered a free round of "Little Beer" to the group. It was not beer, but it was yummy.
