We left Chimney Bay at 8:00 and docked at Henry’s at
12:45. The trip up was beautiful, although
pretty narrow and winding The key word
in Georgian Bay is “rocks.” There are big rock islands, small rock islands, and some little islands that lurk just below the water. We skirted around many little rock islands,
always staying within the channel.
We spent the night at Henry’s, which is famous for its fish and chips, but it also has boat docks and seaplane
docks. We see a lot of seaplanes in this area. You either boat or fly to get around here. We left Henry’s at 8:00 the next morning for a 7 mile run to Port Rawson. We then took the dinghy for a 9 mile run to "the
Falls". The trip was gorgeous and the
falls were beautiful - flowing through many layers of the famous rocks. We climbed some
rocks overlooking the falls, found a nice place to eat our lunch, and then did more climbing. We then returned to the boats for docktails aboard Patriot and then dinner on our boat later.
