March 4-5, 2015 - Miami to Jensen Beach

We left Boca Chita Key around 7:00 a.m. and headed toward Miami.  We were only about 18 miles south of Miami and could see the skyline in the distance.  The weather on Tuesday was nice and sunny and we enjoyed the mansions and megayacths through Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach.  We anchored out Wednesday night and had another beautiful day Thursday.  We saw more mansions and megayachts on our trip to Jensen Beach.  We experienced a lot of boat traffic and spent a lot of time waiting for bridge openings.  Our day took a little downturn when we lost the starboard engine and the wind picked up.  We limped into Nettles Marina and got settled into our dock for the evening.  We had anchored out for four nights.  A friend of Ross and Barb's met us and took us out to eat.  It was our last meal with Barb and Ross.
