We left Grand Haven at 8:00 for a 3 hour trip to
Holland. We spent two great days in
Holland. Our friends Barb and Ross
(Attitude Changer – Gold Loopers) drove over from Howell for a visit. We had a great time with them. We had not seen them since early March. Also Aunt Aggie pulled into the marina
shortly after we did. We had a large
group happy hour with all of us plus Pat and Dick (Gypsea – now Platinum
Loopers) plus Ruth and Steve, friends of Martha and George. We spent most of Wednesday visiting with Barb and Ross. They were very gracious and toted us around to run our errands before leaving to head back home. Pat picked us up around 5:00 for happy hour at their house and then out to dinner at the Crazy Horse Saloon where we had the best prime rib we have had in a long time. We left Holland Thursday for a 5-1/2 hour run to Benton Harbor. It was another nice day on the water. George and Martha (Aunt Aggie) were already there and helped us with our lines. After a few hours of cleaning and laundry, we all settled down at the picnic table by the boats for our happy hour and dinner - our last dinner in Michigan and our last night in the eastern time zone!
