Our summer in Biloxi was very pleasant. Biloxi (and the surrounding towns) were small
and quaint, the people were friendly, and there was NO TRAFFIC. We found plenty of good restaurants, visited
a few casinos, found plenty of shopping (except for Krogers). Life on the Mississippi Gulf Coast is very
relaxing. Our main purpose for moving to
Biloxi was to be close to our girls, and they spent as many weekends on the
boat as they could. We had a great
summer with them and our new jet skis exploring all the rivers and bayous in
the area. We anchored out a few times
and were entertained by dolphins in the evening.
Our six months in Biloxi is coming to an end. We will move to Dog River, Alabama on
November 1 to be even closer to the girls and to start getting the boat ready to
begin our great adventure in mid January 2015.
Below are some of the sights from our stay in Biloxi.
